My mission at Applied Minds is to turn hardworking students into confident, independent thinkers who actually enjoy learning. I focus on making lessons fun and practical, building real depth of understanding around the syllabus, and teaching smart study systems that prevent burnout while improving results.

With over eight years of experience, I have guided students from almost every major private school in the Hills District to HSC success, providing ongoing support between lessons and creating targeted practice exams to keep them accountable.

I achieved Band 6 in Mathematics Advanced, Chemistry, Biology and Economics, completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiography at the University of Sydney and a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University, and I draw on leadership and mindset principles from the Max Potential program to mentor students beyond academics.

 I tutor Mathematics (Standard to Extension 2) for students in Years 7–12  and I am currently studying a double degree of Applied Finance and  Actuarial Studies at MCQ. My goal at Applied Minds Tutoring is to  provide students with an enjoyable learning experience and develop  them into hardworking, high-achieving learners. By achieving an ATAR of  94.05, an E4 in Extension 1 Maths and an examination mark of 91 for  Extension 2 Maths, I am more than capable in helping students achieve  HSC success. 

What I focus on:​
 

My approach is shaped by my own experience as a student. Over the  years, I’ve had tutors who lacked commitment, enthusiasm, or the ability  to explain concepts in a way that actually made sense. Knowing how  frustrating and unhelpful that can be, I make it a priority to teach with clarity, patience, and genuine interest. Every lesson is structured,  purposeful, and tailored to what the student actually needs.
